My name is Bob and I live on Long Island, NY in the US. I am married with two kids (one in grad school and one undergrad). I am currently enrolled at college to teach high school science as a second career. I currently work full time at a very large computer company, and have been there 29 years. I plan to begin teaching in 3 years.

Right now, I am taking a class regarding Literacy in the Classroom, and another which is an English class on Children's Literature.

In my spare time, I am on the board of directors of my local Little League and run a division with 150 First Graders playing baseball. I also maintain the league's website (www.plainviewbaseball.org).

Posting as part of the globalization project here. I am a Phys. Ed teacher in NYC and a HUGE baseball fan. I like your Plainview Association site.It has lot's of very cool information. I imagine that it's great fun albeit a great deal of work. All the best and goodluck

Joe, Dr. Hsu,

Sorry for taking so long to respond to your comments (I hadn't checked until now). Thanks for looking at my site.
Joe, where do you teach? I grew up in the Bronx, and went to grammar school there, then to college in Queens and Bklyn.

Dr. Hsu....we are always looking for ballplayers. Unfortunately, you have to be a resident of Plainview....unless you are considering a move?
